“Baby you have to press charges against him!” Nik said holding an icepack on his face as the police waited for Tima to talk.

“No, he didn’t hit me.”

“Excuse us,” Nik said grabbing Tima to step to the side and have a private conversation.

She didn’t give a fuck how much she acted like she hated Frost, she couldn’t send him to jail, it would hurt her daughter and she couldn’t have that.

“What are you doing? Tell them what happened, why are you protecting him? What? You still in love with him?”

“Nik, I can’t send him to jail and if you care for Jordyn like you say you do then you wouldn’t hurt her like that,” she replied as his face softened.

“Ok, ok, you’re right baby, I’m sorry. I’ll get rid of them,” he said walking back over briefly talking to the officers.

Tima had to sit down because she was feeling lightheaded, Frost had really choked her out, but that wasn’t the reason. She had been throwing up and getting nauseous all week and that only happened when she was pregnant. Most women would be sad about getting pregnant by a nigga they barely knew, but not Tima, she had just secured a bag in her eyes. She was carrying a million-dollar baby.

“You ok, you sure you don’t want to go to the hospital?” Nik asked rubbing her head, Frost had fucked them both up.

“I’m fine just pregnant,” she mumbled as Nik took a step back.

“Babe, don’t play with me like that, did just say you’re pregnant?” he asked as a smile spread across his swollen face.

“Yeah Nik, I’m pregnant.”

“Yes! I love you baby, I promise you won’t need or want for anything! Can I tell my parents?”

“I was going to tell everyone around Thanksgiving.”

“Ok, come on so we can get out of here,” he said helping her out of her chair.

Tima could tell that her pregnancy was going to be a breeze, she was actually happy, but her biggest fear was breaking the news to her mother. That lady was team Frost all day long, in her eyes he could do no wrong, probably because he always made sure Tima’s people were well taken care of when he had it.

“I’m actually going to swing by my mother’s house, so I’ll just meet you at my house in a little bit.”

“How about you come to my house tonight.”

She was shocked, Nik had never invited her to his place, for she all she knew, he lived in his parent’s basement.

“You sure?”

“Positive, you can have a key if you like.”

Nik had no idea the type of door he had just opened with Tima, she knew how to play her cards with him. She knew she had him wrapped around her finger already, and the baby put the icing on the cake.

“Matter of fact, I’m good on the invite, I’m not trying to playhouse in a home that you shared with another bitch.”

“I understand, so we’ll find a new one, one big enough for the kids to have their own rooms plus playrooms.
